The quick way to dry powder

The Mini Spray Dryer is a bench-top system for quick and easy drying of aqueous solutions and suspensions. With the Inert Loop B-295 as an accessory, it it possible for the first time to work with organic solvents under safe conditions. This instrument is not only very useful for feasibility studies, but also to produce small samples of dried product. An easy operation enables to obtain optimized processes within a short time.

As an experimental and pilot system, the spray dryer, with a maximum drying capacity of up to 1.0 l/hr of water, has already been used successfully in such different fields like pharmacy, flavours, ceramics and many more. A broad data base of different applications is available to profit optimizing the spraying parameters (see link below).

Due to an better fluid dynamic design, larger glass cylinder diameters and an precisely shaped nozzles, the yield could be increased significantly. Furthermore, new PTFE membrane filters enable the recovery of fine particle by counter-pulsation. The Inert Loop B-295 is a unique instrument to work with organic solvents. A closed loop under nitrogen eliminates a possible explosible mixture. The intgrated oxygen probe is monitoring the concentration and automatically stops the feed in case of unsafe operating conditions.
