Multivapor P-6 and P-12
![]() | MultivaporTM stands for an entirely new approach in parallel evaporation: the synergetic use of already installed laboratory equipment. |
| The Multivapor is a compact 6 or 12 position parallel vortex evaporator that is designed to optimize existing personal process workflows. When used in combination with the Rotavapor a unique increase in functionality is observed, as is an expansion of synergy with an impressively small footprint. In the absence of a Rotavapor the Stand-alone Setup provides a comprehensive, sophisticated and independent evaporation system. |
The new concept: Multiply your Rotavapor
In most laboratories, several rotary evaporators are used to cope with the ever increasing demand of high sample throughput. The Multivapor solves this problem, individually sealing up to 12 samples and transferring the vapor to the condenser assembly of the rotary evaporator. This synergetic use of both the condenser and vacuum assembly increases the flexibility of the Rotavapor whilst reducing the total manipulation time for multiple sample processing. Hence, excellent time and resource saving are achieved on a minimal footprint.

The Stand-alone Setup: a comprehensive benchtop solution
BUCHI's long standing expertise in both evaporation and vacuum technique allows us to provide a comprehensive benchtop solution with the peripheral units ideally interacting with each other. Hence, the delicate task of parallel evaporation even of complex solvent mixtures is safely mastered without the risk of cross-contamination, an omnipresent problem in alternative approaches such as vacuum centrifuges.

No sample transfer: less manipulation, more efficiency
The Multivapor is designed to fit into specific process workflows where evaporation of multiple samples is considered a bottleneck. A flexible sealing system with a range of specific adapters covers a broade range of common glassware, rendering the time-consuming sample transfer steps obsolete.
A comprehensive list of adapters available for a number of different sample vessels is shown in:

Major product configurations
The following table provides an overview of the major Multivapor bundles including vacuum solutions or an interface of the combination with a rotary evaporator. A modular concept on one hand meets the customer's specific demands but on the other generates a whole host of possible configurations. Please consider the ordering matrix in the Multivapor brochure to set up your specific bundle.
