Spray Dryer Application Database

We are the experts in Lab-scale spray drying

Take advantage from the Spray Drying Application Database and just have a look if your material has been tried out yet!

Based on almost 30 years of experience, Buchi is the expert in lab-scale spray drying and spray chilling with the innovative Mini Spray Dryer B-290.

New trends in research and development generate a need for small particles at very high yields. Particularly in drug administration, galenics formulation or advanced nano material technologies - small particles for product studies are very promizing.
Buchi offers you an application database with a large variety of different application from a broad range of fields.

Whether the requirement is the gentle drying of natural product dyestuffs, the isolation of highly active pharmaceutical ingredients and micro-encapsulation of drugs or extracts – the B-290’s outstanding features greatly extends the number of applications that are possible with a spray drying - or spray chilling process in the range of 1-30 µm particle size.

The application database is an outstanding and very helpful tool to optimize routine processes in the laboratory or for pioneers in R&D of the Pharamceutical Technology, Biotechnology, Food Industry or in Material Technology.

The given process parameters can be used as starting point values for process optimization or just as an indication if a material can be spray dried.
