Tomas Hirschfeld Award
The Tomas Hirschfeld Award, sponsored by BUCHI, is the most prestigious in the field of near infrared spectroscopy. The Award is presented for outstanding achievements in the field of NIR spectroscopy. The awardee is selected by the International Council for Near Infrared Spectroscopy (ICNIRS).

Dr. Marcelo Blanco Romia from the faculty of Sciences, University Autonoma of Barcelona, Barcelona, Spain.
The award will be presented at the "15th International Conference on Near Infrared Spectroscopy" on 13-20 May 2011, in Cape Town, South Africa.
