Extraction Applications
Buchi offers a wide range of extraction solutions. Solvent extraction is the most often used sample preparation technique to determine different ingredients in food and feed, industrial and environmental samples. Depending on the customer needs there are different units available (Extraction System B-811, Extraction System B-811 LSV, Extraction Units E-812, E-816, SpeedExtractor E-916/914). The application task can be implemented in the best way.
Buchi offers an unique, complete selection of classical extraction techniques such as the Hot-, Warm-, Randall-, Goldfish or the Standard-Soxhlet-Extraction, as well as parallel presssurized solvent extraction (PSE). An overview of the application field of PSE is given here.

The Soxhlet Extraction procedures operates in accordance with the recognized methods as §64 LFBG (Weibull-Stoldt) and AOAC Acid Hydrolysis Method (Hydrolysis Unit B-411, E-416).
